Manuel Antonio is situated in the south of the western province Puntarenas. Manuel Antonio is one the most touristic places of Costa Rica.

THINGS TO DO IN MANUEL ANTONIO
The Manuel Antonio national park is rich in flora and fauna. There are 352 bird species, 109 species of mammals, and 346 plant species registered. The ocean has a huge diversity of maritime fauna. In this area birds such as toucans, pelicans, fish hawks, kingfishers, and the grey-necked wood-rail (aramides cajaneus) can be spotted here. Iguanas, lizards, and snakes are also common, and some of the most prominent mammals present are raccoons, nose bears, agoutis, sloths, capuchin moneys, and jumping monkeys.
On the beaches surf lessons, parasailing, kayaking, and sail tours are offered. In the direct area there are waterfalls, canopy tours, hanging bridges, and rafting. The closely located national parks Uvita and Dominical or one of the many beautiful waterfalls in this area are also worth a visit.
Crocodile Boat Tour on the route to Pacific Beaches
This tour will bring you up close with Costa Rica´s biggest crocodiles while enjoying a boat ride on the Tarcoles River. This river houses one of the world´s largest crocodile population with about 25 crocodiles living per square kilometer, with crocodiles growing as big as fifteen feet or more!

As your boat glides through the water, you will likely encounter Dolphins, which love to swim in our bow wake. Occasional Giant Sea Turtles and whales are a special treat, when they appear. White Water Rafting on the Savegre River
This adventurous, family-friendly, full-day trip is a unique white-water river rafting adventure with lots of “perks”. You can expect that the internationally trained, bilingual guides and safety kayakers will safely guide and teach you how to navigate through this exciting river experience. You and your group of fellow rafters will start slowly and work your way up to an unforgettable adventure.
Starting with a 4x4 ride into the “wilds” of Costa Rica’s tropical jungle with breathtaking scenery your journey begins at “Silencio”. This is a little local village of thatched roof dwellings where you can enjoy a typical Tico breakfast after a “bumpy road” journey, yet before you paddle down the Savegre.
